Asha Myers is a certified practitioner in the Ancestral Lineage Healing method developed by Dr. Daniel Foor of Ancestral Medicine. Her professional and educational backgrounds are in social work, addictions counseling, trauma-informed care, piano performance and pedagogy, and editing and writing.

She is a descendant of the southern Italian diaspora to America. Her paternal ancestors hail from Calabria and Campania.  She holds dual US and Italian citizenship and makes her home in the Piemonte of the Alps. Her maternal lineages hail from Denmark, England, Germany, and Ireland. She loves to cook nordic cuisine.

She is currently obsessed with southern Italian frame drumming in devotion to the Black Madonna (the neighbors are less enthused with her morning drum practice), as well as learning to dance the many different forms of tarantella.

She is a mother, a lover, and a human living her own flavor of neuro-spicy queerness.
