I Am Asha.
To know me is to know the ones who grew me.
Of Lands & Waters
Born under a new moon on the land of the Ohlone by San Francisco Bay, reared by the cold Atlantic on the ancestral homelands of the Paugussett Algonquian, and grown along the Poudre River in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains on the land of the Arapahoe, Cheyenne, Lakota, and Ute . My life's song is woven with the many beautiful voices of the First Nations people across Turtle Island. In 2026, my path brought me across the ocean to the country of my father’s people.
Today, together with my husband, we raise our daughter in the Piemonte of the Alps, nourished by the confluence of two Mountain Mamas—the Gesso and Stura rivers of Cuneo, Italy.

The Foundations of my Practice
My journey and offerings are ever evolving. I can tell you I am a writer, ritualist, and musician. This sounds neat and tidy. I am also a mother, a wife, and a woman getting queerer by the day. There is nothing tidy here and it's the holiest thing I do.
The one constant throughout my life is my devotion to the Holy and to creating spaces for others to commune deeply with the Divine in whatever holy name or form The Great Goodness takes for them.
I believe in kinship, in co-creation, and walking each other Home.

Ritual & Ancestral Healing

I am a practitioner in the Ancestral Medicine Network, guiding 1-on-1 and group Ancestral Lineage Healing sessions in the approach developed by Dr. Daniel Foor. My formal ritual education comes through the trainings of Dr. Daniel Foor (Ancestral Medicine) and Shannon Willis (Red Earth Healing), including:
-
Ancestral Lineage Healing Practitioner Training
-
Initiations: A Life of Ritual
-
Forces of Nature: Ritual Safety
-
Writing with the Dead
-
Dreaming with the Moon
My devotion to ritual arts is inspired by the teachings and lineages of Malidoma and Sobonfu Somé, Martín Prechtel, and Hazrat Inayat Khan.
Trauma-Informed Care & Social Work

My practice is rooted in real-world safety and human development. Holding a B.A.S. in Human Development and Family Studies, my career in addiction recovery (as a Certified Addictions Counselor) and youth program director and transition facilitator provided deep training in:
-
Motivational Interviewing & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
-
Trauma-Informed Care & Somatic Safety
-
Navigating Complex Intergenerational Dynamics
Music & Devotional Creation

With a background in Piano Pedagogy and Performance from Colorado Contemporary Music College and mentorship under composers William Grosvenor Neil and Calvin Jones, music is my foundational devotional language.
Stay tuned: I am developing virtual courses guiding musicians to find inspiration in co-composing with their more-than-human kin. Subscribe to my newsletter to stay up to date with new offerings!).
Writing & Mythopoetics

As a freelance writer, editor, and ghostwriter, I weave ritual into the written word—leading ancestral writing workshops for teens and adults, crafting a coming-of-age mythopoetic novel, and being a doula to the beautiful stories that others birth (and true story: once upon a time, I was a trained and certified birth doula. I've done a thing or two in this life.)
